Team 2 travel to Masaka

Tuesday 18th July 2023

Morning from team 2. We arrived safely in Masaka yesterday afternoon after a quick stop at the equator. We had a great time at the craft market on Saturday and a swim at the hotel. Our team led Sunday school for 140 children, which was twice as many as we were expecting! We needed to do some extra speedy sheep shape cutting out. Matt D, Tim and Jakob were amazing with their preaching skills and managed fantastically with an interpreter.

We are splitting today between Lady Grace and Masaka so we have been double checking we have everything. It is beautiful countryside out here with lush green scenery. We are being well fed as ever, with 'eggy bread' from breakfast. We have been shown the pigs, rabbits and ducklings at the school, I have siad don't get too attached as you may be eating one of those later in the week! I have taken a group down to Lady Grace and we have had a wonderful welcome with the whole school meeting us. So all is well.
